Hitchcock Downtown Redevelopment Plans & Design Guidelines

On January 23rd, 2023, City Council approved the Downtown Redevelopment Plans and Design Guidelines for the downtown district. The EDC continues to work towards the buildout of the planning document set forth. Design Guidelines refer to the city's desired architectural esthetic that it wishes new development in the downtown district to adhere to. Interested developers can contact city hall to set up a meeting to ensure planning documents meet the design standards of the area.
